About

Born and raised in Bangor, Maine, Shari has learned to love the four seasons. She grew up spending summers on Phillips Lake, time at her parents hunting camp and winters skiing with her family. Even at an early age, the outdoors called to her, and became one of her main passions. Shari's parents were small business owners, so she grew up learning a strong and committed work ethic.

When she married Daryl in ‘96 and became an army wife, it provided her with an opportunity to see the world. But that opportunity came with several challenges. Through four deployments and twenty-four years of service, she became accustomed and equipped to overcome uncertain times. 

The Garlands welcomed their son, Colby into their family in 1998 while they were stationed in Germany. It became even more important that Shari was able to make each move feel like an adventure, and each house feel like home. 

When the Garland family settled in one location in 2002, Shari chose to give back by helping her community and fellow REALTORS® through several professional and local committees.  She is resourceful during fast paced and stressful times and committed to providing a shoulder to lean on during the most anxious and exciting times in her clients' lives.

Now that the Garlands are empty-nesters, they have had the privilege of transforming their 127-acre camp into a beautiful home. Shari’s life outside of work includes exploring the great state of Maine on her treasured motorcycle or snowmobile, cherishing time with their boxer dogs, cooking outside, and gathering by the firepit with friends and family!
